Joe Revel-Cooper
Resourcing and Inclusion Lead
As Resourcing and Inclusion Lead, I am responsible for the operational management of Resourcing at Yorkshire Building Society. That means leading our team of awesome specialists who help candidates find the role for them.
I have worked in recruitment since 2014, and in that time have worked across multiple industries and disciplines, from a solicitors firm, to Management Consultancy, to the UK’s largest power station.
I joined the Society in August 2021 as a Resourcing and Inclusion Specialist and have been lucky enough to get exposure to teams across YBS.

Jessica Wilkinson

Shared Service & Resilience - Procurement, Partnerships, Risk Assurance, Resource Optimisation
I joined YBS in September 2019 but prior this I worked in recruitment for 5 years recruiting a variety of different specialisms including retail, manufacturing and head office vacancies.
Since joining YBS I have had the opportunity to work with most areas of the business on their recruitment campaigns.

I joined the team in September 2021 and I love working for YBS! It’s a brilliant place to work with a flexible and inclusive culture. In my current role, I partner with the technology, digital & data teams on all things resourcing, talent and inclusion.
I’ve got lots of experience in Recruitment, Talent & HR across Retail, Charity and Financial Services. Throughout my career I’ve partnered with every head office function you can think of! Everything from trading, marketing and finance through to HR, property and legal. I am really enjoying recruiting for IT, Transformation and Digital right now at YBS, it’s a challenging but very exciting market.

Resourcing and Inclusion Specialist
I recruit for the following business areas: Branch and Customer Service Divisions.
I joined the Society in 2017, and throughout that time I have worked in several departments, learning and growing along the way. However, it wasn't until April 2022 that I finally discovered my passion, which is recruitment.
I currently specialise in Branch and Customer Service but since joining the Talent, Resourcing & Inclusion team I’ve had the opportunity to work with many amazing teams across the business. I love supporting hiring managers in their search for the ideal applicant as much as I enjoy assisting candidates in finding their ideal role.

I joined YBS in October 2021. Prior to this I spent 5 years working within other financial services, gaining experience in internal recruitment, and ultimately realising this was the career I was passionate about.
I have been fortunate enough throughout my 6 years in recruitment to recruit for lots of different areas but I currently specialise in Volume, Retail and Customer Service Division recruitment. I genuinely care about giving candidates the opportunity.

I joined YBS in December 2018 and specialise in Technology Recruitment. I have worked in Recruitment since 2016 and have always worked in regulated environments (Financial Services mainly and previously Health Care too).
I’m an experienced recruiter and work on roles across all levels from IT Help Desk to Director level roles. As part of my role, I have the pleasure recruiting IT Apprentices and supporting with their development.

I joined the YBS in 2015 starting my journey in the Branch Network.
During in my time in the branch I was able to grow and develop my customer service skills while gaining a whole range of knowledge across the different areas of the Retail Network. In 2023 I Joined the Resourcing and Inclusion team recruiting for the Customer Service Divisions. I have a real passion for helping people and really enjoy the journey of finding a candidate the ideal role.
