We’ve made applying for our roles as easy as possible. Here’s how the process works and how we’ll be here to support you every step of the way.

    • You’ll just need to upload your CV and fill out a quick application form and you’re done. You can include a cover letter in your CV file if you’d like.

      Once submitted, you’ll get access to your candidate profile to track your progress. Any questions? Each advert has its own contact details. Or you can email us at careers@ybs.co.uk.

      Our vacancies stay open for the full duration of the advert, so you won't find the advert disappears before you get a chance to apply.

    • Our recruiters and hiring managers review applications and go through a thorough shortlisting process. If your profile’s a good match, we’ll move you to the next stage. If not, we’ll let you know as soon as we can. We may also get in touch if we need any extra information to support your application.

    This is your chance to shine. We’ll let you know what to expect with any interviews and assessments.

    • If you’re invited to interview, you’ll receive an email along with details and content of the session and our candidate pack to help you prepare. All interviews are scheduled online, making it easy to pick a time that suits you.

      Sometimes we might also ask you to complete a task or presentation relevant to the role. For some customer-facing roles, we’ll invite you to an assessment centre.

    • We know interviews take time and effort. So, if things don’t go your way, we’ll let you know by email along with our contact details so you can reach out to get feedback. We’d recommend it, as it’s a great chance to learn, grow, and get ready for your next opportunity.

    • Your hiring manager will call to offer you the job and explain next steps. You’ll have some time to consider and if you accept, our Resourcing and Inclusion team will be in touch with further details on next steps and the onboarding process. You’ll also have access to our onboarding portal to track progress as well as view and sign your contract.

      Then it’s all about getting ready for your first day – and we’ll be here every step of the way.
