We are currently recruiting for two Senior Managers in our Change Delivery function to enhance delivery effectiveness and support organisational transformation across YBS.

You’ll be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of Delivery Squad outcomes, ensuring quality delivery that meets One Plan outcomes, risks, costs and timescales.

That means providing strategic direction and strong leadership to several cross functional Delivery Squads, line-managing Business Change colleagues and the Squads, whilst bring together expertise from Technology Services, Data and AI, and the business all to drive effective collaboration, maintaining strong stakeholder engagement, and championing continuous improvement.

About the role

With c.7 direct reports and overall management responsibility for c.25-40 Change SMEs, you’ll manage a budget up to £30m, and be accountable for:

  • Working collaboratively with Data, Technology Services and the Business Sponsor to deliver agreed and prioritised change across all change types.

  • Initiative development and delivery, enhancing Change Delivery capability, and assess and enhance current and new processes in line with defined customer journeys.

  • Ensuring full compliance to change delivery processes and governance, establishing and maintaining a clear governance structure across the end-to-end change lifecycle that promotes transparency, accountability, and clear ownership.

  • Partnering and influencing senior stakeholders to define and prioritise initiatives and ensure YBS change budgets are directed towards the areas of greatest strategic and commercial value.

  • Inspiring, developing, and guiding ahigh performingteam, fostering a collaborative, continuous improvement and a culture of delivery excellence.

  • Managing resource allocation effectively, making sure the right mix of permanent colleagues and external suppliers is in place.

  • Engaging with and effective management of 3rd party suppliers.

  • Managing risk and risk management standards, prioritising high impact mitigation activities, escalating risks and issues where necessary.

About you

With extensive delivery experience of IT and/or Change, and a track record of safe and successful delivery of complex change portfolios with an annual budget of c£20-30m, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience of delivering business outcomes in both scaled agile and waterfall delivery environments, including experience with SAFe and PPM frameworks.

  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience of developing high performing teams and embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Knowledge and experience of a broad range of industry practices in project and application development lifecycle methodologies, such as MSP, Agile, APM and Prince 2, SAFE, Business Process Mapping

  • Experience of managing a diverse set of internal and external stakeholder relationships including strong vendor relationship management experience.
