Property and Supply Chain Risk Analyst

We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Risk & Controls Reporting Analyst to support effective risk management, governance, and reporting across our Supply Chain and Property functions.

This role plays a key part in strengthening risk and control oversight, producing high quality management information, and supporting RCSA reporting. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Risk, ESG, Compliance, Procurement, Sustainability, and Property to ensure timely, accurate, and well governed delivery of key activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills, an interest in risk and sustainability, and experience working in a regulated or complex operational environment.

About the role

Key Responsibilities

Risk & Control Oversight

  • Provide oversight and support for the effective operation of the Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) process across Supply Chain and Property.
  • Monitor and track risk events, control effectiveness, and remediation actions, ensuring these are accurately recorded, followed up, and escalated where required.
  • Support the identification of emerging risks, helping to ensure timely awareness and escalation through established governance channels.

Reporting & Management Information (MI)

  • Produce accurate and timely risk, control, and performance reporting, including dashboards and insights for internal stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Maintain and enhance risk and control data within relevant systems and trackers, supporting data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Prepare clear, well structured management information packs for forums and committees to support effective decision making.

Governance & Assurance

  • Coordinate and support assurance activities, including internal reviews, audits, and control testing across Supply Chain and Property.
  • Track and report on compliance with internal policies, regulatory expectations, and relevant third party risk frameworks, including horizon scanning activities.
  • Maintain clear documentation and supporting evidence to ensure ongoing assurance, audit readiness, and regulatory reviews.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with colleagues across Property, Risk, ESG, Compliance, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and timely delivery of risk and reporting activities.
  • Provide organised administrative and analytical support for governance forums, including paper preparation, action tracking, and follow up.

About You

You’ll be comfortable working with data, engaging with multiple stakeholders, and managing competing priorities. You’ll bring a structured approach, attention to detail, and confidence in communicating risk and performance information clearly.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in risk management, controls, governance, reporting, or assurance within a corporate or regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate management information.
  • Experience maintaining data quality across trackers, systems, or reporting tools.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to track actions and meet deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting RCSA or similar risk frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ESG or sustainability.
  • Experience working with Supply Chain, Property, or third party risk management.
  • Awareness of regulatory expectations and audit processes.

Community and Charity

Ever since we started back in 1864, we’ve had a clear purpose – to do some good in our communities through helping people keep their savings safe. And helping everyone have a place to call home. Today, that purpose is still a huge part of who we are. And every one of our colleagues helps that happen.

We’re committed to volunteering our time, resources, skills and knowledge – more than 50% of colleagues contribute to thousands of volunteer hours every year. And our Charitable Foundation has now donated over £9 million to charities and good causes across the country.

Opportunities are there for the taking if you want them and are willing to work for them.
