If you want to see genuine outcomes from the work you do, then you can get that here. That’s because your analysis, marketing and CRM expertise is integral to building our marketing campaigns and customer journeys.
So, if using customer data and insights to drive value is your passion, this is the role for you!
This is a hybrid role with remote working and some occasional onsite collaboration in our central Leeds office.
About the role
As a Marketing Analyst, you'll use customer data, insight and advanced analytics to shape CRM activity, improve customer journeys and support marketing strategy. You'll identify opportunities to grow customer value, optimise marketing performance and help the business make better decisions through data.
Working within a team of five, within a wider Lifecycle Marketing function of 14. You'll analyse customer and campaign data to understand behaviour, uncover opportunities and deliver actionable insight. You'll support audience targeting, segmentation and modelling activity, helping to ensure our marketing communications are relevant, effective and customer-focused.
You'll also evaluate marketing performance, measure ROI and provide clear recommendations to stakeholders across Marketing and the wider business. Acting as a trusted analytical partner, you'll turn complex data into insight that drives measurable customer and business outcomes
About You
You'll have experience working in a data-led, CRM or customer analytics environment, with a strong understanding of how customer insight can drive commercial performance, customer engagement and business decision making. You'll be passionate about understanding customer behaviour and using data to identify opportunities that improve customer and business outcomes.
You'll possess strong analytical skills and experience working with large and complex datasets using tools such as SQL, SAS and Python. You'll be confident applying statistical and analytical techniques to uncover insights, solve business problems and influence strategy through evidence-based recommendations.
You'll have a strong track record of using customer data and advanced analytics to identify opportunities, understand customer behaviour and improve marketing effectiveness. Experience in customer segmentation, predictive modelling, propensity modelling, lookalike audience modelling and audience targeting is essential, and you'll be confident using these approaches to identify high-value opportunities, optimise marketing activity and deliver more relevant and effective customer communications. Along with translating complex data into actionable insight that drives measurable customer and business outcomes.
You'll also have experience producing insight-led reporting, performance dashboards and recommendations that influence stakeholder decision making. Experience within Financial Services would be advantageous, particularly within CRM, customer analytics or customer value management, although this is not essential. More important is your ability to combine analytical rigour with commercial thinking, turning insight into clear actions that deliver measurable value. [
Away from the technical skills, you'll be a strong communicator who can build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, you'll enjoy challenging thinking, identifying opportunities and helping colleagues make better decisions through data and insight.

Find out more about our Ways of WorkingCommunity and Charity
Ever since we started back in 1864, we’ve had a clear purpose – to do some good in our communities through helping people keep their savings safe. And helping everyone have a place to call home. Today, that purpose is still a huge part of who we are. And every one of our colleagues helps that happen.
We’re committed to volunteering our time, resources, skills and knowledge – more than 50% of colleagues contribute to thousands of volunteer hours every year. And our Charitable Foundation has now donated over £9 million to charities and good causes across the country.
