Learning Delivery Specialist

Do you have a passion for helping others learn and develop? We're looking for a Learning Delivery Specialist to join us and play a key role in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences. You'll help colleagues across YBS build their capability, confidence and skills, enabling them to thrive both now and in the future.

About the role

This is a highly visible role where you'll facilitate a wide range of learning interventions, from leadership development and behavioural skills programmes to operational learning. You'll work closely with learning designers, subject matter experts and business leaders to ensure our learning experiences remain effective, relevant and impactful. Some responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging face-to-face learning sessions across Leeds and Bradford and virtual learning through Microsoft Teams.
• Facilitating leadership and professional skills programmes, adapting your approach to different audiences and learning needs.
• Creating inclusive and supportive learning environments where colleagues can learn with confidence.
• Maintaining and updating learning materials to ensure they remain accurate, effective and aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
• Providing feedback and insight to learning designers to continuously improve learning interventions.
• Preparing and coordinating all learning logistics to ensure smooth and professional delivery.
• Supporting colleagues through coaching, buddying and refresher learning where additional development is required.
• Managing and supporting colleague development platforms, including mentoring and strengths tools.
• Measuring learning effectiveness and identify opportunities to enhance the learner experience.

About you

We're looking for someone who is passionate about learning, development and helping others succeed. You'll be a confident facilitator who can quickly build rapport, adapt your style and create positive learning experiences for a diverse range of colleagues.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience delivering both virtual and face-to-face learning.
• Strong facilitation skills, ideally including leadership development and behavioural skills programmes.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• A genuine interest in how people learn and develop.
• Confidence using Microsoft Teams, Office 365 and digital learning platforms.
• Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• The flexibility to respond to learner needs and adapt delivery in the moment.

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience designing or co-creating learning content.
• Experience supporting mentoring, coaching or behavioural development initiatives.
• A learning, development or facilitation qualification.
