Play a critical role in shaping how change performance is understood and acted upon across Yorkshire Building Society. You'll be responsible for ensuring leaders across the organisation have a clear, trusted and consistent view of change portfolio performance, transforming complex delivery, risk and financial information into compelling insight that supports effective decision-making.

As the Change Reporting Lead, you'll own and continually evolve reporting through to ExCo and Board, creating a single version of the truth that enables effective oversight, challenge, prioritisation and intervention across the Society's change portfolio.

About the role

The Change Reporting Lead is accountable for the design, delivery and continuous improvement of enterprise-level change reporting, ensuring senior stakeholders receive timely, accurate and decision-relevant information.

  • Own and evolve enterprise change reporting, including reporting standards, information flows and the production of high-quality materials for Change Board, ExCo and Board. This will ensure consistent and transparent oversight of portfolio performance.

  • Drive better decision-making through executive-quality reporting, translating complex delivery, risk and financial information into clear narratives, forward-looking analysis, recommendations and early warning indicators that support prioritisation, challenge and intervention.

  • Lead and develop a small team of Reporting Analysts whilst partnering across Governance, Finance, Delivery and Risk communities to embed reporting standards, improve data quality and maintain a trusted single version of the truth across the change portfolio.

About you

You are an experienced reporting manager/leader who combines exceptional written communication skills with a strong analytical capability. You are comfortable translating complex information into clear, concise and compelling narratives that enable senior leaders to make informed decisions.

  • Significant experience producing Executive Committee, Board or equivalent senior governance reporting, with a proven track record of distilling complex information into clear, concise and impactful decision-support materials. Experience designing and owning enterprise-scale reporting frameworks and managing portfolio-level reporting across complex change environments.

  • Proven ability to synthesise complex delivery, risk, financial and operational information into high-quality materials, with strong experience creating recommendations and narrative-led reporting for senior stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience leading reporting teams, embedding reporting standards and improving organisational decision-making within a complex or regulated environment.

Our commitments to Community and Charity

Ever since we started back in 1864, we’ve had a clear purpose – to do some good in our communities through helping people keep their savings safe. And helping everyone have a place to call home. Today, that purpose is still a huge part of who we are. And every one of our colleagues helps that happen.

We’re committed to volunteering our time, resources, skills and knowledge – more than 50% of colleagues contribute to thousands of volunteer hours every year. And our Charitable Foundation has now donated over £9 million to charities and good causes across the country.
