We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow Manager to join our Technology Services team. We are in a period of significant change and this role will play a pivotal part in our journey to deliver a great experience for our colleagues as we embark on an expansion of the use of ServiceNow to drive improvements across YBS.
This is a hybrid role, where you can blend working from home, with office presence dependant on business requirements.
About the role
As a hands-on ServiceNow Manager, you’ll lead, coach and develop the ServiceNow team and define the control framework, standards, rules, guardrails and monitoring adherence for the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for -
Working across the organisation to understand and oversee the design and development of our ServiceNow architecture to meet current and future business needs; assessing opportunities for additional deployments and establishing a clear roadmap for maintenance and future developments
Working with our partners to ensure ServiceNow best practice is maintained, and we achieve maximised value of the platform across Yorkshire Building Society
Development and operational management of ServiceNow services and security ensuring the integrity of business, colleague and customer services/ data
Oversight of efficient and effective production and non-production ServiceNow services establishing and monitoring KPIs across platform availability, performance, reliability, and efficiency
Developing yourself and the team to ensure high level of knowledge and up-to-date skill set in ServiceNow
Assurance and risk management of the ServiceNow platform
About you
You’ll have deep knowledge of ServiceNow, and proven experience of leading teams to provide and develop a robust service, delivering on-going improvements and benefits. You will have -
A proven track record in ServiceNow Developer experience of both functional and technical aspects for a successful implementation, working closely with various stakeholders like business, process leads
In-depth knowledge and understanding of ServiceNow licensing model
Strong understanding of the principles and theory relating to ServiceNow and understanding of the architectures, strategies and solutions
Knowledge of IT Service Management processes, tooling and services within the IT marketplace, specifically ITIL
Proven people management skills including recruitment, development, coaching and mentoring
Ability to develop and maintain effective customer relationships including collaboration, communication and facilitation skills
Ability to develop and maintain effective vendor relationships
An understanding of IT procurement and contract negotiation
