We are looking for an experienced project manager to support the delivery of key regulatory projects within Balance Sheet Management. The role will play a key part in readying the function for the future and will be leading on projects focussed on prudential regulatory reporting and regulatory changes. The ideal candidate will possess experience of managing projects or business change initiatives with a prudential risk focus or within a prudential risk management environment. Key areas of focus will be projects associated with regulatory reporting and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex regulatory projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, outlining project objectives, milestones, timelines, resources, and risk management strategies
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to interpret and implement regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management
- Effectively communicate complex regulatory issues to diverse audiences.
- Prepare regular reports on project progress, compliance status, and potential regulatory impacts.
About you:
- You’ll be an experienced project manager with experience in delivery of projects within financial services or a highly regulated environment
- You will be able to evidence experience of delivering regulatory change
- You’ll use your excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to manage and resolve risk and competing/conflicting priorities
- You’ll feel comfortable in conversations with and influencing senior management
- You will be able to show how you bring your understanding and experience to bear on the delivery challenges you are facing in order to drive change at the right pace and bring your stakeholders with you
- You will be able to draw on your knowledge and experience of a broad range of industry practices in lifecycle methodologies
- You’ll have Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex financial data and models.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
