We have an exciting role for a Project Business Partner - Finance to bring your SME knowledge to our growing portfolio of transformation projects across YBS. No two days will be the same, and you’ll get the opportunity to partner closely with project teams utilising your project finance skills and experience.

This is a 12-month fixed term role.


About the role


As Project Business Partner - Finance, you’ll play a key role in the future of YBS.


  • You’ll do that by acting as a trusted business partner for project teams and by providing insightful analysis and advice on a wide range of projects

  • Working closely with sponsors, Project Managers and Portfolio Delivery Managers you’ll be part of key project meetings and provide financial input that informs and enables successful project delivery

  • You’ll be a commercial thinker and use this to improve decision making, provide constructive challenge and work with Project Managers to flag risks and mitigate them.

  • All this will be underpinned by great engagement with stakeholders and finance teams, as well as always having an eye on driving improvement, improving forecasting and identifying opportunities to streamline and automate process


About you


  • You’ll be a proven Finance Business Partner who can demonstrate effectively building great working relationships and influencing a wide range of key stakeholders. This’ll be coupled with great project finance experience and the ability to identify positive change and process improvements

  • Underpinning this will be an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent with prior relevant experience

  • You’ll be analytical, organised and have experience of reviewing, managing and developing new financial and analytical models as well as be able to effectively identify risks/ implications

  • This is a varied role, that will see you work across a wide range of projects. So, you’ll be someone who relishes a challenge and enjoys a dynamic and everchanging workload. You’ll like working with a high degree of autonomy and have experience of taking responsibility for time sensitive commercial decisions
