Service Now Analyst

We have a fantastic opportunity for a ServiceNow Analyst to join our Technology Services team. This role will play an important part in our journey to deliver a great experience for our colleagues as we embark on an expansion of the use of ServiceNow to drive improvements across YBS.

You’ll be responsible for the support and development of the ServiceNow platform to ensure the efficient delivery of Service Delivery across YBS.

This is a hybrid role, where you can blend working from home, with office presence dependant on business requirements.

About the role

As ServiceNow Analyst, you’ll ensure day to day management of the Service Now support queue and be responsible for gathering business, functional and non-functional requirements for any enhancements to the tool. You will -

• Implement basic enhancements, defects and features on the tool depending on ability

• Provide assistance with report and dashboard configuration

• Produce technical documentation and adhere to coding standards

• Provide guidance/ coaching to the customer when there are opportunities to eliminate “waste” (LEAN concept) from the process

• Assist with co-ordination of UAT and support UAT, verifying defects/ issues with Clients

• Identify and implement, where possible, service improvement opportunities

About you

You’ll have -

• Previous experience working with the ServiceNow platform

• Ability to analyse data sources and recommend detailed solutions

• Strong requirements gathering, workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to liaise with senior level stakeholders across multiple divisions and challenge, where appropriate

• A commitment to keep up to date with ServiceNow innovations and developments
