Savings Analyst

Please note internally this role is known as a Product Support Consultant.

We are thrilled to offer a superb opportunity for a Product Support Consultant to join our Savings Trading team. You’ll be working closely as part of the wider team to develop management information, competitor insight and intelligence, and customer insights, which will help bring new products to market, engage with our customers and colleagues, and support delivery of our savings plans.

About the role

In this role, you’ll play a big role in making a difference to our members and the Society, working in a team at the forefront of our vision for our Savings product range. You’ll do that by;

• Supporting implementation of divisional plans to ensure we deliver against our strategic priorities, getting involved in a range of projects and initiatives to further improve our savings offering.
• Develop and analyse daily and weekly product performance management information, insight, and recommendations.
• Undertake regular competitor and market intelligence reports, helping to support product and pricing recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to provide savings product details for set up and launch.

About you

As our next Product Support Consultant, you’ll bring with you a passion for understanding how savings products can affect members and customers. You’ll be driven, data orientated, and enjoy taking a collaborative approach to your work. You'll have;

• A positive attitude and inquisitive mind
• A flair for analytical and data skills, across several data tools including Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to engage with, and influence, key stakeholders, with a skill for bringing the story behind the numbers to life.
• A good understanding of YBS, our savings products, and key competitors, as well as an awareness of the regulatory landscape.
• An understanding of the financial services industry.
