We have an exciting opportunity for OutSystems Low Code Developers to join our growing Front End Development Team here at YBS. You’ll have the opportunity to design and develop OutSystems applications as part of our Digital Transformation project, as well as being involved with our Front of House work.

This is a hybrid role; remote working and some onsite presence in our central Leeds offices.

About the role

As OutSystems Low Code Developer, you’ll get to use OutSystems technology to design and develop applications as part of our digital transformation project. You will -

  • Develop engaging innovative new features for our websites

  • Take design mock-ups and convert them into visually appealing web experiences

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UX/ UI designs

  • Write front-end code that performs great and adheres to team standards and industry best practice

  • Review other Developers work to ensure quality standards are maintained

About you

With a proven track record in a similar role (such as an OutSystems or Low Code Developer) you’ll be able to demonstrate -

  • Proficiency in hand-coding HTML5 and CSS3 & writing vanilla JavaScript

  • Knowledge of Responsive Web Design with a proven track record of building engaging websites

  • Ideally be OutSystems Certified, but not essential if proven work experience

  • Ability to write well-structured, maintainable front-end code

  • Knowledge of web standards and web accessibility requirements

  • Understanding of SEO best practices

  • Desirable skills include: jQuery, Handlebars, SASS, GIT, JS frameworks, JavaScript ES5+, CMS tools, LifeRay CMS, LifeRay DXP
