Digital Product Owner

Are you a Digital Product Owner looking for your next opportunity? Commercial Lending is a core part of the YBS business and this is a great opportunity to help shape the future development of the website. You will be working alongside a friendly and established team of Acquisition Digital Product Owners and User Experience experts.

As Digital Product Owner, you will be involved with shaping an excellent digital experience for our Commercial Lending customer website journeys. It’s an exciting time to join us in this developing role and take part in our Digital Transformation journey, focusing on our acquisition and engagement ambitions and playing a critical role in shaping the future of the Commercial Lending digital platform.

This is a hybrid role; remote working and some onsite presence in our central Leeds offices.

About the role

• Your focus will be on leading on digital development priorities and engagement initiatives that result in a first-class digital experience for our Commercial Lending audience. Underpinning this will be a commitment to aligning to commercial and regulatory objectives

• You’ll manage the performance and customer experience through the Commercial Lending website by defining stories, acceptance criteria and prioritisation of backlog to maximise value

• You’ll also be a collaborative member of the Commercial Lending and Digital Channels teams and provide insight and information to them to help delivery colleagues to understand and prioritise requirements and support to key colleagues/ SME’s

• You will promote the ‘voice of the customer’ and be mindful of the end to end journeys and creatively thinking to deliver great new value features and meet the growing expectations of our Commercial Lending customers today and in the future

• Away from the day to day, you’ll also assist with the creation of business cases and for larger change projects in your area

About you

With a proven track record in a Digital Product Owner role (or be looking to take that next step to becoming one) -

• Ideally, your experience will be with web/ web optimisation for an B2B proposition, but we wouldn’t want you to be dissuaded from applying if not. If you have any relevant digital experience or think you have the skills to do the role, we’d still love to hear from you

• Your product owner expertise will be coupled with experience of agile methodologies and frameworks, as well as knowledge of digital change implementation, planning and analysis

• You’ll be committed to creating great customer experience and have proven experience of delivering this previously

• Away from the technical experience, you’ll be someone who builds strong relationships with key partners, and be able to manage these through excellent communication, engagement and influencing skills
