We’re excited to offer a 12-month secondment opportunity for a Business Development Advisor to join our team based in Bradford. In this role, you'll utilise your communication skills to establish strong relationships with our mortgage brokers, ensuring exceptional customer service.

About the role

As our next Telephony Business Development Adviser, you’ll be the first point of call for mortgage intermediaries looking to place their clients with our Accord mortgage brand. Your role is to provide exceptional levels of service utilising your expertise of our mortgage products and propositions. You’ll be interacting with mortgage intermediaries via phone calls and Webchat, with the aim of doing all you can to support Intermediaries make the right choice for the customers and adding value to their business.

You’ll spend much of your time supporting our brokers with a range of enquiries. With market leading training and support you’ll be able to talk confidently about our products and services whilst building and maintaining strong relationships. You will work alongside other business areas to make sure we’re able to offer our intermediaries the very best service.

The role offers the opportunity to build a solid foundation of knowledge about the mortgage industry and Intermediary market. This expertise will place you in a strong position to develop a career in mortgages should you choose to do with the opportunity to achieve formal mortgage qualifications, perhaps move into the advisory space or a more proactive sales role with Intermediaries.

Please note this role is based at our Bradford Head office with a view of hybrid working in the future. There are great public transport connections nearby, and on-site parking.
