About the Role

As a Treasury Operations Officer, you'll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team that values growth, collaboration, and impact. In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Oversee the settlement and management of deals across cash, debt securities, and derivatives.
  • Manage collateral positions daily - covering both derivatives and securities.
  • Be responsible for cash management across multiple group entities and currencies.
  • Conduct the operational management of securitisation deals, including daily transactions and payment-day activities.
  • Reconcile all Treasury bank accounts daily, investigating discrepancies.
  • Onboard new counterparties, ensuring compliance with KYC standards.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal teams like Front Office and external banking partners.

You’ll also play a key role in driving continuous improvement within our Treasury Operations. By proactively reviewing current processes and suggesting enhancements, you'll help us mitigate risks, boost efficiency, and deliver even greater value to the business.

About You

We’re looking for a highly skilled professional with previous experience in Treasury Operations or Finance, coupled with a strong understanding of core Treasury activities. You’ll have the ability to work autonomously while managing a dynamic workload and adapting to shifting priorities. Your expertise and proactive mindset will be integral to ensuring operational excellence within the team.

To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • Treasury Expertise: Proven experience in Treasury Operations, including cash management, collateral management, and deal settlements across cash, debt securities, and derivatives.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with onboarding counterparties and adhering to anti-money laundering standards (KYC).
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong numeracy skills, and the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
  • Technological Proficiency: Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and macros, and familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (experience with Murex MX.3 is highly advantageous).
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A commitment to evaluating and enhancing processes to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Interpersonal Excellence: Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively across departments, building productive relationships both internally and externally.

With a proactive approach and innovative thinking, you’ll contribute to the evolution of Treasury Operations and support the team in achieving its strategic goals.
