We have an opportunity for a new manager to join our Capital Management team, you’ll support the ongoing management, monitoring and reporting of the capital position of the Society, with a focus on regulatory reporting. You will also have the opportunity to work on the development and implementation of the capital strategy, interpreting and implementing new regulation, and Pillar 3 document. You’ll join our Capital Management team currently working flexibly/hybrid in Leeds and remotely.

About the role

You’ll support the delivery, monitoring and incremental improvement of core Capital Management deliverables, with responsibility for delivery of key day-to-day activities. This could include:

  • The production of regulatory capital reporting, incl. COREP, MREL+, Capital+, QIS

  • Production of internal capital information reporting

  • Capital related external reporting including Pillar 3 and elements of the Annual Report and Accounts

  • Support the development of the Group’s capital strategy

  • The management and running of the capital models and processes, defining requirements and ensuring processes are effective and well controlled

  • Production and ongoing maintenance of Capital Management Policies, Policy Guides and Interpretations, Judgements and Assumptions, ensuring compliance with both regulatory requirements and internal guidance.

About you

  • Thorough knowledge and experience of capital management in financial services.

  • Good knowledge and experience of regulatory reporting requirements.

  • Strong numerical / analytical skills.
