We’re looking for an individual to join our team to deliver assurance over change risk in the delivery and implementation of key projects and programmes that underpin our strategy. You will work extensively with stakeholders in key change initiatives to help shape the delivery of our audits and develop good working relationships with colleagues within the business.
You don’t necessarily need to have Internal Audit experience we’re looking for someone who understands the delivery of change and the associated risks. Full support will be provided to learn our audit methodology. There is also an opportunity to study for a professional internal audit qualification (CIA or CMIIA) through our apprenticeship scheme.

About the Role
- Attend programme steering committees, providing oversight and challenge.
- Plan and deliver audits within appropriate timescales and to Internal Audit methodology.
- Deliver robust and succinct audit reports, applying your professional judgement on the adequacy of the control environment, root causes and risk culture.
- Influence colleagues across the change portfollio to embed robust, cost-effective controls and strengthen the overall control environment.
- Help shape the Internal Audit department through process improvement initiatives supporting the development of other colleagues to create a high performing function.
About You
- Ability to work autonomously and make appropriate assessments of risk and control frameworks, demonstrating excellent business judgement.
- Have good project management experience, time management and prioritisation skills to deliver audits to the required quality and timescales.
- Have a strong knowledge of change risk and be comfortable speaking with change experts within the business.
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
