Business Manager Customer Division

We’re looking for someone who can help us run the Customer Division like clockwork. As Business Manager, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to keep things moving, make sure plans are solid, and help us deliver for our people and our members.

This is a new role, and it’s all about making sure the division runs simply and smoothly with a clear operating rhythm, joined-up planning, and no surprises.

About the Role

  • Set and maintain a structured operating rhythm for the division so everyone knows what’s happening, when, and why.

  • Keep tabs on what’s live, what’s coming, and what needs attention.

  • Spot risks early and help keep delivery on track.

  • Feed in insight from across the team to support smart decision-making.

  • Help shape strategies, policies, and reports that make a difference.

  • Build strong relationships across teams to keep things joined up.

  • Support change and improvement and help us do things better.

About You

  • You’re default position is ‘can-do’.

  • You’re organised, hard working, and good at making things happen.

  • You’ve led projects and worked across different teams before.

  • You know how to turn plans into action and use data to back it up.

  • You’re confident presenting ideas and updates clearly, whether in writing or face-to-face.

  • You’ve worked with senior stakeholders and know how to manage competing priorities.

Business Impact

We may be almost 160 years old, but we’re still leading the way when it comes to digital transformation. Our ever-growing IT, Transformation and Digital teams are embracing innovation to shape change. And drive us into the modern age of information, AI, and automation. All whilst keeping us, and our members, safe. So, they have a real impact on our transformation journey, and our future. And that means you can too!

We help our colleagues get the most out of work, and take care of themselves, wherever they’re working.
