Are you looking for a role to make your own? Or perhaps one where you have control of the way you do things?
Well, as a Business Development Manager with us, you’ll have the confidence and autonomy to do just that, as well get the stretch and development you need to push on with your career.
About the role
As Business Development Manager covering East Midlands and surrounding areas (NG, DE, LE & NN), you’ll be playing a key role in the continued success of our Accord Mortgage Brand. You’ll be developing and maintaining successful relationships with key broker firms that support business strategy, increasing market share and directly impact our profit and quality KPI’s.
You’ll work with the Regional Manager to agree business plans and use these to drive profitable growth. You’ll also identify and research new opportunities to build relationships that align with the wider business strategy. All of this will be supported by a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Your role won’t just be one that faces outward, your expertise and feedback on the performance of our products will be valuable for our Mortgage teams.
This really is a role you can make a difference and where you will blend both working from home and working out in the field. We would ideally want you to be living in or near to the East Midlands.
About you
You’ll have great sales and business development skills and have a passion for providing a first-class customers service. This will be coupled with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills as well as an eye for detail.
You will preferably have had experience with the use of data visualisation software and CRM systems. You’ll relish a challenge and be comfortable managing a dynamic workload and diary.
Ideally, you’ll have a CeMAP qualification and excellent knowledge and experience of intermediary mortgage lending and the regulatory framework that governs it, but don’t be dissuaded if not. If you have experience with other financial products, then we’d still be keen to hear from you.
About us

Whether it’s finishing early for an appointment or fitting your studies and hobbies in around your working hours, we can help make it work for you. From day one, we’ll set you up for success with a brilliant induction and full training plan, all designed to get you up to speed quickly.

I joined the Society in 2017, and throughout that time I have worked in several departments, learning and growing along the way. However, it wasn't until April 2022 that I finally discovered my passion, which is recruitment.
In my current role with the Resourcing & Inclusion team, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with many amazing teams across the business. I absolutely love helping hiring managers find their perfect candidates, and it's equally rewarding to assist candidates in landing their dream jobs.
