So, if you want a role where you can get some great exposure, take ownership and deliver a great service to colleagues and candidates we think you should read on.

About the Role

As Resourcing & Inclusion (R&I) Specialist, you will partner with Senior Leaders and key stakeholders in the business to deliver an efficient and highly effective resourcing service. You’ll do this by forming strong relationships so that you can proactively plan and deliver successful end to end recruitment campaigns, successfully utilising a range of sourcing methods.

Acting as a trusted advisor to the business, you’ll provide guidance, challenge and promote best practice when it comes to delivering recruitment and support the delivery of our Inclusion Strategy. Underpinning this will be your commitment to providing a great candidate and hiring manager experience.

You will build and maintain external relationships with third party suppliers and proactively grow your networks. You’ll use these relationships and networks to help secure great talent for YBS, but also to help you gain market insight and knowledge.

You’ll also get the opportunity to work with the wider R&I Team to deliver key projects, and support recruitment across different business areas and specialisms.

The R&I Team work on a hybrid basis, which gives us gives us the flexibility of working in the office and at home. We’ll discuss this in more detail through the process.

About You

You’ll be an experienced recruiter, either from agency or in-house, with proven examples of delivering successful end to end recruitment campaigns and running multiple vacancies at any time.

You’ll be confident in creating and advertising social media plans, as well as using LinkedIn and other platforms to directly source candidates and create effective talent pools and pipelines.

Alongside this, you’ll need excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills and be able to partner effectively at all levels (up to Director and Chief) within the business.

Today, that purpose is still a huge part of who we are. And every one of our colleagues helps that happen.

Our ways of working and flexibility

Colleague smiling at phone in the office

We know there’s no single right way of working that fits everyone. That’s why we’re not trying to find one. Instead, we’re doing everything we can to make sure that when we’re working flexibly, together and apart, we’re working at our best. We help our colleagues get the most out of work, and take care of themselves, wherever they’re working.

We offer a range of flexible working options without unsocial hours, which can help you find a healthy work-life balance. Whether it’s finishing early for an appointment or fitting your studies and hobbies in around your working hours, we can help make it work for you. We’re happy to talk flexible working and you can reach out to us anytime during the recruitment process to discuss this.

I recruit for the following business areas: People, Risk, Internal Audit & Commercial (excluding digital channels)

I joined YBS in October 2021. Prior to this I spent 5 years working within other financial services, gaining experience in internal recruitment, and ultimately realising this was the career I was passionate about.

I have been fortunate enough throughout my years in recruitment to recruit for lots of different areas but I currently specialise in our head office functions, supporting hiring managers with their resourcing needs and supporting candidates to achieve their full potential throughout our recruitment process.

I recruit for the following business areas: Commercial (excluding digital channels), Internal Audit, People & Risk

I joined the Society in 2017, and throughout that time I have worked in several departments, learning and growing along the way. However, it wasn't until April 2022 that I finally discovered my passion, which is recruitment.

In my current role with the Resourcing & Inclusion team, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with many amazing teams across the business. I absolutely love helping hiring managers find their perfect candidates, and it's equally rewarding to assist candidates in landing their dream jobs.
