This role will be based in our Leeds Head Office with working from home capability.
What You’ll Do
As a Market Risk Analyst, you’ll play a key role in managing and reporting on our market risk positions. You’ll help us understand how changes in financial markets affect our mortgage, savings, and treasury decisionsand you’ll be part of the team that helps us respond.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting internal and regulatory market risk reporting
- Helping develop hedging strategies for fixed-rate mortgages and savings products
- Monitoring market risk appetite metrics and contributing to MI and regulatory submissions
- Interpreting changes in risk frameworks and regulations, and applying best practice
- Building strong knowledge of our balance sheet and risk profile
- Championing a positive risk culture across the organisation
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from:
- Recent graduates with a passion for finance, risk, or economics (training provided!)
- Current analysts with experience in market risk, treasury, or financial reporting
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Are comfortable with analytical tools like Excel and communication platforms like Outlook and Teams
- Have an interest in financial markets and risk management
- Enjoy solving problems and working with data
- Can manage deadlines and communicate clearly with stakeholders
