We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Treasury Operations Risk & Compliance to join our team in BSM Transformation & Change.
In the role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring compliance of the Treasury Operations team with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will embed effective risk and control across the team and identify and implement any improvements. A key focus of the role over the fixed term will be the enhancement of the Society’s existing processes with regards to the Bank of England’s RAF requirements for Stays and FMIs.
This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.
About the role
As Manager Treasury Operations Risk & Compliance, you will -
- Review existing capabilities in the areas of ‘Stay’ and ‘FMIs’, identify gaps and develop the enhancement plan
- Further enhance and develop existing capabilities in with BoE policy and industry best practice
- Lead on capability level testing within Treasury Operations and working with other teams for cross-capability testing
- Review, assess and monitor compliance with internal policies and policy guides, including; EUC standard, Third party risk management, Treasury risk policy and Settlements policy guide.
- Lead the development of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to internal group policies and external regulation working closely with legal and compliance teams.
- Embed effective control frameworks, monitoring adherence to control frameworks and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Review, assess and implement enhancements in the Treasury Operations compliance with Operational Resilience requirements and BC/DR planning
- Maintain and monitor relevant controls within Treasury Operations including, including, bank and payment mandates, Settlements policy guide, Bloomberg chat monitoring and KYC checks
About you

Rigorous, methodical and well organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines
Ability to identify and deliver process improvement and positive change - address key risks/ implications
Highly numerate and strong commercial acumen - capable of digesting and interpreting technical information
A strong understanding of the Bank of England policies on Stays and FMIs and the application within Financial Services
