We're looking for a Lead Technology Governance Associate to help strengthen our Technology Services control environment, support critical governance activities and provide insight that enables better decision-making. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across Technology Services, influencing senior stakeholders, driving improvements and helping shape a strong risk-aware culture.
This is a hybrid role, a mix of working from home plus time in our central Leeds & Bradford offices.

About the role
As Lead Technology Governance Associate, you'll work closely with the Technology Governance Manager Risk to develop and embed technology governance, risk and control frameworks across Technology Services. You'll play a key role in ensuring risks are identified, managed and resolved, while supporting strategic planning, regulatory compliance and governance activities. You will -
Develop and continuously improve technology governance, risk and control frameworks aligned to Group standards
Produce insightful risk reporting, dashboards and management information for senior leaders and governance forums
Lead interventions in high-risk areas, driving issue resolution and delivering sustainable improvements
Support audits, regulatory requirements, attestations and engagement with 1st, 2nd and 3rd Line of Defence teams
Contribute to workforce planning, financial governance and supplier oversight to support effective operational delivery
About you
You'll be a confident risk and governance professional who can translate complex information into meaningful insight and influence stakeholders at all levels. You'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about driving positive change. You’ll bring
Experience working within technology risk, governance or control environments, ideally within financial services
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and create compelling management information
Experience developing and embedding policies, standards, controls and governance processes.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge, influence and build strong relationships
A continuous improvement mindset and experience leading issue resolution, remediation activities or risk interventions
It would also be great if you have relevant risk, governance or information security qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or similar
