Assistant Digital Product Owner (Mortgages)
Secondment Opportunity until June 2027
Do you have experience delivering change in a mortgage environment and enjoy improving customer journeys?
We're looking for an Assistant Digital Product Owner to join our Digital Mortgages team on a secondment until June 2027. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in mortgages, change delivery and/ or testing activity who wants to help shape the future of our digital mortgage journeys.
Working closely with the Digital Product Owner, you'll support the delivery of business, regulatory and customer-focused change, helping us create better experiences for customers, brokers and colleagues.
This role is based at our Bradford Head Office, with flexible hybrid working available.
About the Role
You'll help deliver change across our digital mortgage journeys, supporting business, regulatory and customer-focused initiatives from idea through to implementation. Working closely with the Digital Product Owner, you'll coordinate change activity, gather requirements, support testing, and identify opportunities to improve customer and colleague experiences.
You'll:
Deliver and support mortgage change initiatives
Gather and refine requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
Coordinate activity across business and technology teams
Support testing, including UAT and defect management
Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve mortgage journeys
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the Society
About You
We're looking for someone with:
Experience working within a mortgage environment
Experience delivering or supporting change, process improvement or transformation activity
Testing experience, including UAT
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Good organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
A customer-focused approach and passion for improving outcomes
