Underwriting Support Administrator Broadoak Peterborough (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Do you have a passion for helping customers? If so we have a an exciting opportunity for Underwriting Support Administrator to join the team and play a key role in helping our customers find a place to call home.
About the role
You will be provide essential administrative support to all underwriting service delivery teams. Your work will help ensure that we are lending in accordance with agree practices and service levels.
This is a role where you will always be able to get stuck in, responsibilities are wide and varied and include, but not limited to:
- Ensuring all Customer, Broker, Solicitor, and internal customers correspondence received (post, emails and faxes) are worked or allocated within agreed service standard.
- Ensuring that any necessary Customer batch printing of offer is carried out accurately in accordance with set service standards.
- Manage inbound and outbound calls to internal underwriting colleagues but also external parties such as Solicitors, Broker’s and Customers.
- Look at ways we could improve process and automate where possible.
About you
You will need to have great administration skills and experience, this’ll be coupled with;
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone.
- Great organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
Please note: You will be required to work from our Peterborough office with the option to work from home occasionally.

During my time in the branch I was able to grow and develop my customer service skills while gaining a whole range of knowledge across the different areas of the Retail Network. In 2023 I joined the Resourcing and Inclusion team recruiting for the Customer Service Divisions. I have a real passion for helping people and really enjoy the journey of finding a candidate their ideal role.
