We are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for an AI Lead Value & Adoption to join our team in AI & Data. In this exciting brand-new role, you’ll champion and operationalise the value realisation agenda including adoption for AI across YBS, working in partnership with business leaders and colleagues to identify, prioritise, and track high-impact, ethical AI opportunities that deliver measurable business outcomes.

This is a hybrid role with working from home plus some onsite presence in our Bradford & central Leeds offices.

About the role

As AI Lead, you will drive AI Adoption across the organisation, thinking strategically to identify opportunities to align AI initiatives with broader business goals, reimagining workflow and insights based on evolving AI capability. You’ll -

  • Work with business use case owners to conduct AI Value Framework assessments to identify and measure value of AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and adherence to ethical AI standards

  • Proactively keep up to date with industry trends, market innovations, external benchmarks and YBS-specific insights, establishing yourself as a recognised AI leader and champion for YBS, internally and externally

  • Evaluate proposed AI initiatives based on strategic alignment, enterprise opportunities, technical feasibility, and potential business impact, provide recommendations to leadership on AI investment decisions.

  • Lead the establishment of an AI Academy, future skills pathways (aligned to Data Academy). Design and deliver training sessions to upskill business teams in AI literacy and upskill leaders in AI transformative impact and potential risks

  • Own the AI Playbooks and maintain engagement with senior stakeholders to demonstrate progress across their areas and oversee change pipelines

About you

You’ll have experience in business analysis, digital transformation or AI/ analytics roles along with a strong interest of AI technologies and their business applications. You will have

  • Broad knowledge of Data & Information landscapes and best practice operating models including people, process, and technology

  • Familiarity with data and AI governance, ethics, and risk management

  • Knowledge of data science workflows and AI/ ML lifecycle

  • Demonstrable skills in data-driven outcomes evidenced through projects/ initiatives and/ or experience in running or changing business functions with a willingness and ability to quickly grasp technology/ AI concepts

  • Proven track record of building solid relationships and networks, strong influencing skills with ability to tailor interactions across large stakeholder groups

  • Ability to translate complex information into clear business outcomes, with excellent verbal and written communication, gaining buy-in and influencing executive/ senior stakeholders
